  • Frequent DNS misconfigurations by users due to complex registrar interfaces (GoDaddy, Namecheap, Cloudflare, etc.).
  • High risk of websites going offline from minor DNS record mistakes.

Constraints included maintaining operational costs at around $0.08 per support request, rapid deployment to reduce ongoing support loads, and seamless integration with existing support infrastructure (Intercom).



Solution

To address the client's needs, a specialized DNS Support Agent (a “virtual network engineer”) was developed. This AI-powered chatbot leveraged real-time DNS diagnostic tools (10 specialized utilities) and integrated comprehensive DNS registrar documentation. The Agency Swarm framework was utilized to seamlessly blend knowledge bases with actionable diagnostics directly within Intercom.
